To us, the best part of fitness is skill development. Feeling like you are progressing is addictive and there is nothing worse than that feeling of stagnation. Focussing on skill development and actually enjoying the process of training is important to achieving your goals whatever they are! If you are only training to get physical, superficial results, you are missing out on the most important part of training! Enjoying the type of training you are doing is hugely important for long term goal commitment; if you don’t look forward every day to getting to work out you are not doing the right type of training! This also means you do not need to rely at all on discipline to achieve your goals, training is something you really enjoy and look forward to.
This is where most people go wrong, they focus on lifting weights, getting on that treadmill and going through the motions to get the body they want.
